HONK!TX Parade 12 noon -2 PM - Pan-American Park will be the start and end of the parade route. Parade kicks off at Noon.

HONK!TX All-Band Revue 2:30 PM -5:30 PM - Pan-American Park Amphitheater. Bands will have approximately 8 minutes of performance time, in parade order.

HONK!TX Film Fest 6 PM - 9 PM - Location TBA, will be walkable from Pan-Am Park. 2 documentaries (Sousa on the Rez, A Trip to the Moon) and a couple of documentary shorts about global brass band culture. Free to the public.

Honk!TX Festival of Community Street Bands is hitting the streets of Austin TX for the second year (March 23-25, 2012, during the media section of SXSW).

HONK!TX is a different kind of festival that will present music to Austin in an unprecedented fashion.
Twenty community street bands will participate in transforming everyday locations into organic stages where the line between crowd and performers dissolves. HONK!TX's unique format will demonstrate the potential for creative use of our public spaces without the need for amplification or artificial stages.
