Patients Celebrate Thanksgiving with New Orleans-style Concert
For patients and staff at the flagship hospital that couldn’t be home for Thanksgiving, RIC hosted a celebration in the Heyworth rooms over the weekend featuring the New Orleans-style band, Environmental Encroachment. The event was initiated by a patient’s family members. Not only did the band feature raucous big-band music, but it also included costumes, acrobatics, spontaneous appearances and audience interaction in the performance.
